Continuing to pursue his passion, he started a family and took many more opportunities across the country. Along his journey, he decided to broaden his creativity and craftsmanship into the custom construction field. It all began with the position at a custom cabinet and mill shop in Philadelphia which triggered his new passion and curiosity to learn more. Mitch spent 8 years learning all aspects of cabinet making and finishes before he started working as a remodeling carpenter for the next 3 years. “I have been honored to know about Tongue and Groove for many years. The care and precision of the work is on par always. There is not anyone on the team that isn’t at the top of their game which brings a fluidity that I find many projects lack. Communication has been key always in this industry. I find Tongue and Groove takes it to a whole new level while making it a fun collaborative process for all. Due to this it fits my goal for my clients. Service and care are a must. The clients that would use Tongue and Groove want the best quality with care and creativity in mind. They understand it is a passion from the ground up. Tongue and Groove has gone over the top with dreaming outside of the box then bringing those visions to life. Mark and his team truly love bringing the project to life. That is what I want for my clients. Many of the clients that I would send to Tongue and Groove could walk in and purchase many homes however, they enjoy the creative process. They are drawn to the unique yet functional easy coastal life style. Regardless, of architectural preference they have something for everyone.” - Broker, July 2018

“The experiences have been very collaborative, heartfelt and inspiring. I am always very impressed with the laid back yet extremely professional demeanor of the entire team.” - Broker, July 2018

“I hope to continue and further my professional relationship with this excellent team. They inspire and impress me. Which is not something that happens easily with me. With over 25 years in the industry as a Broker I have to say this team is impressive and inspiring. I feel T&G has set themselves apart because they frankly just deliver an honest and clear business model. It is delivered clearly, honestly and is heart felt. It is a local company with southern charm and world class views of how a product is conceived and then delivered to the client. So I ask you who wouldn’t want to work with a team such as this. I for one will!” - Broker, July 2018

“We’re so lucky to have the support of wonderful local business and individuals like you guys!” - Local Organization, December 2017

That made all the difference.” “The house is very special to me and my family. We will enjoy it forever and will remember how fortunate we were to have had Tongue and Groove involved.” – Client, December 2010

“On behalf of [our] family we would like to thank Tongue & Groove [team] for the complete remodel of our home in Landfall. It was your vision for this remodel that actually helped make our decision on the purchase of the home. Remodeling and furthermore renovating a home is a huge undertaking and our family is grateful that T&G helped us through the process and kept us well informed of the day to day challenges. Buying an older home and transitioning it into the “now” is an awesome process but there are always some unknowns. T&G helped us make the right choices and now our choice has become a “dream home” for our family.” – Client, March 2010
