A Note From Our Founder & CEO, Mark Batson
I’m reaching out to you today as we all continue to experience this rapidly changing and unprecedented medical event. These difficult times cause anxiety and stress to ourselves and loved ones, and I want to assure you that we are working hard to monitor the situation and make responsible decisions based on data and expert guidance.
We’ve always taken the well-being of our employees, subcontractors, clients seriously, and we know this is more important than ever. Aligned with guidance from health authorities, we are implementing the following changes to Tongue & Groove Design + Build for the time being:
- All office employees have the option to work remotely and can be reached via email/video conferencing.
- All in-field employees who wish to continue to work will be checked in at the job sites every morning.
- Meetings will take place via video conferencing on a case-by-case basis.
My company is doing its best to keep a sense of normalcy throughout this time. Please do not forget that our community’s small businesses need our support now more than ever, whether that means writing a 5-star review, sending a kind message, or purchasing gift cards. I urge you to keep these businesses in mind.
I am hoping that you and your families continue to be safe and remain vigilant. My thoughts and prayers are with you as we work to live through these times prepared, but not scared. We will stay in communication with you throughout this time. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me—We are all in this together.
