This modern farmhouse aesthetic is a fresh take on the country living-inspired style. It combines a cozy “down to earth” presentation with clean, sleek contemporary design elements. Simple materials, and natural textures like wood and steel characterize the warmth of the interior.
The “Light and airy” concept was very important for our clients, which was accomplished by accentuating the two-story mass with an exposed ceiling structure, a large ridge skylight to let light in from above, and the tall shiplap focal point emphasizing the range and hood. The two-story space also connects the two floors together seamlessly. We also are bringing the outdoor in with the oversized folding window/door to the Screened Porch.
