RESPONSIBILITIES:

A construction carpenter at Tongue & Groove builds, designs, and installs structures, furniture, and fixtures from various materials. They are responsible for understanding and meeting the client’s needs, adhering to blueprints, operating different tools and equipment, measuring, and cutting materials such as wood and metal, shaping and assembling various parts, and performing repairs or replacements. Candidates must be physically fit to climb high places and install doors and windows. Most importantly, our carpenters work in a team setting, which requires an active communication line for a safe and efficient workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

We are looking for full-time carpenters with at least 3 years in the construction industry with solid experience performing the following:

  • Framing
  • Siding to include Cedar Shake, Hardie, etc.
  • Porch Ceilings to include Mahogany, Cypress, etc.
  • IPE Decks
  • Interior Trim
  • Cabinet Install
