Interior Design Assistant

Estate Technician - Palm Beach/martin counties

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Tongue & Groove is dedicated to providing exceptional, luxury-level service to homeowners. As an estate technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that every property reflects our high standards and brand promise as well as fulfilling the goals & aspirations of the homeowner. Working collaboratively with homeowners, Tongue & Groove Estate Executives, and other Tongue & Groove teams, you’ll contribute to the continued success and growth of the division. 

KEY RESPONsibilities:

Service Promotion & Growth: Collaborate across construction and realty divisions to generate new service opportunities and expand the client base. 

Punch List & Warranty Support: Assist Estate Executives with punch list items and warranty claims for homes completed under our construction services, ensuring that all concerns are addressed promptly and to the highest standard. 

Home Inspection Support: Partner with Estate Executives and realtors to resolve punch list items identified during home inspections, ensuring homes are move-in ready and up to expectations. 

Maintenance & Repairs: 

  • Support the team in performing general home maintenance, repairs, and renovations, while overseeing subcontractors and performing self-performed tasks.
  • Manage the securement of homes and assist with on-site tasks, ensuring every project is executed with precision.

 

Self-Performed Work: 

  • Troubleshoot and address issues across various systems (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
  • Assist with site clean-up, home staging for client arrivals and departures, and various other hands-on tasks ensuring that the work is completed to the highest level of quality.

 

Schedule Adherence & Quality Control: 

  • Maintain adherence to established schedules, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all service tasks while upholding stringent quality control standards.
  • Conduct inspections of work performed to ensure that all aspects of the service meet or exceed Tongue & Groove’s reputation for excellence.

 

Homeowner Satisfaction: 

  • Provide exceptional customer service during all maintenance and repair services, ensuring homeowners’ expectations are met or exceeded and fostering positive client relationships. 
  • Work closely with homeowners to communicate progress and address any concerns, ensuring an outstanding service experience from start to finish. 

 

Safety Compliance & Site Management: 

  • Enforce Tongue & Groove’s safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Promote safe work habits and ensure all work environments meet safety standards.

 

Subcontractor Oversight: Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring they meet Tongue & Groove’s cleanliness and quality standards and are held accountable for proper site maintenance and final clean-up.

Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with homeowners and clients, delivering unparalleled service and communication that solidifies loyalty and repeat business. 

Efficient Communication & Documentation: Utilize company software systems to track tasks, maintain accurate schedules, and document service delivery, ensuring smooth communication within the team and with clients.

WORKING HOURS:

Monday through Friday, 8am to 5 pm. Occasional weekend work for client emergencies and designated on call weekend.
