We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee residential construction and renovation projects. This role is responsible for daily jobsite management, maintaining project schedules and budgets, and ensuring our high standards for quality, communication, and client satisfaction are consistently upheld.

The ideal candidate is a clear communicator, strong leader, and proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, design-driven environment. Working closely with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors, this individual will help guide projects from pre-construction through completion while maintaining the level of craftsmanship and professionalism our clients expect.

essential duties & responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day construction activities on assigned projects
Ensure construction is performed to architectural drawings, code, and client expectations
Monitor and maintain schedules, production timelines, and trade contractor deadlines
Ensure clean, safe jobsites with strict adherence to Tongue & Groove safety standards and OSHA compliance
Supervise, coordinate, and mentor field employees, subcontractors, and vendors
Perform hands-on support of carpentry or trade tasks when necessary
Conduct quality checks and enforce no-defect construction standards
Schedule and verify deliveries, materials, and trade work
Approve vendor and contractor invoices for accuracy and completion
Serve as the main point of contact for clients during active construction
Review and consult on design revisions and ensure all project documentation is up to date
Conduct pre-closing walk-throughs and complete punch lists
Maintain consistent, clear, and professional communication with all internal and external project stakeholders
Use BuilderTrend and other software tools to track project progress and improve team efficiency
Promote client satisfaction and timely payment through transparent communication
Support Tongue & Groove’s marketing and growth goals by building sustainable relationships and delivering profitable projects
