Property Service Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Service Technician is responsible for supporting the growth and success of Tongue & Groove’s Property Service Division by working collaboratively with homeowners, Property Service Managers and Tongue & Groove personnel to provide world class service consistent with the goals and aspirations of the homeowner and the unique luxury approach that serves as the hallmark of Tongue & Groove’s brand.

  • Actively promoting Tongue & Groove’s Maintenance Services to all clients served through our construction and realty services and growing the revenue associated with small one-off repair projects and on-going, whole property routine maintenance services.
  • Working with Property Service Managers upon the completion of new construction projects to rectify the punch list of all items related to final completion of the home and address warranty claims as needed.
  • Working with Property Service Managers to assist Mark Batson Realty and other Landmark Sotheby realtors to address punch list items that come up from home inspections.
  • Assist Property Service Managers to perform home maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects. Includes accessing and securing homes, meeting and directing subcontractors, and self-performing work.
  • Self-performed work to include troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, carpentry work, lifting, site cleaning, staging homes for client arrival/departure.
  • Adhering and providing input to the maintenance or repair schedule.
  • Ensures the homeowners’ expectations are met during the maintenance or repair of their home.
  • Maintains a safe work site by implementing Tongue & Groove’s safety policies, enforcing safe work habits, and observing OSHA regulations.
  • Manage quality control including inspection of work.
  • Monitors home cleanliness and holds the subcontractors responsible for clean-up.
  • Performs duties at multiple homes, simultaneously.
  • Assist team to build sustainable customer relationships.
  • Work within the specified software.
