We are opening our new office in Raleigh, NC, and will be proudly serving The Triangle, offering elite property services to one of the nation’s most exclusive markets. Ideal candidates have backgrounds in luxury residential construction and high-end hospitality.

The Skilled Interior Carpenter will demonstrate exceptional craftmanship, expert-level carpentry skills, and a strong commitment to ensuring the successful completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The skilled interior carpenter will play a crucial role in leading carpentry projects, providing expertise, guidance, and mentorship to junior carpenters, and ensuring the successful completion of all interior carpentry tasks with precision and efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Lead Interior Carpentry Projects: Take the lead on interior carpentry projects from start to finish, including planning, organizing, and executing tasks according to project specifications and timelines.

2. Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to junior carpenters, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge in carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.

3. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate expert-level interior carpentry skills, including proficiency in a wide range of carpentry tasks with an eye for detail on the finishing and cabinetry.

4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all interior carpentry work meets or exceeds quality standards and specifications, conducting regular inspections and making necessary adjustments to maintain excellence in craftsmanship.

5. Problem-solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex carpentry issues and challenges that arise during projects, utilizing creative problem-solving skills and practical solutions.

6. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate work activities, address concerns, and ensure smooth project execution.

7. Safety Compliance: Prioritize safety on the job site, enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that proper safety measures are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.

8. Material Management: Manage and oversee the procurement, storage, and utilization of carpentry materials and supplies, ensuring optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.

9. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials usage, and project expenses, providing timely reports to project management as required.

10. Understanding Plans: Interpret blueprints, building plans, and specifications, and effectively communicate project requirements and objectives to team members.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience in the interior carpentry field, expert level knowledge and attention to detail.
